Make Great Impressions
One Meaningful Gift at a Time
Ivy Horan founded MGI Corporate Gifts in Fall 2019, bringing over 25 years of retail expertise to the world of corporate gifting. From humble beginnings with just two clients, we’ve grown significantly—a testament to our commitment to making every gift meaningful.
Our growth tells the story: from $30,000 in sales during our first full year (navigating COVID shutdowns) to serving over 70 clients today. We’ve helped celebrate milestone 20th and 50th anniversaries, provided Inauguration gifts, and everything in between.
MGI stands for “Make Great Impressions,” and that's what drives everything we do.
Gifts are often left to the last minute in event planning, creating unnecessary stress.
At MGI, we reach out early, listen deeply, and craft thoughtful proposals that meet your budget, timeline, and vision. We're with you from concept to delivery, ensuring you're absolutely delighted.
Our clients represent the full spectrum of Arlington and beyond, including nonprofits, associations, financial institutions, universities, private schools, law firms, government agencies such as the State Department, DOD, Supreme Court, and Department of Commerce.
As a Small Woman and Minority-owned (SWaM) certified business since March 2024, we bring diverse perspectives to every project we undertake.
MGI’s Partners, Volunteerism and Philanthropy
We work with a carefully curated group of vendors who share our commitment to quality and reliability. These partnerships allow us to deliver exceptional gifts and awards with complete confidence.
Community is at our heart. My commitment to service runs deep, from volunteering as the Award Coordinator for Cub Scouts Pack 2476 and Room Parent at Nottingham Elementary School to currently serving as the Vice President of the Williamsburg Middle School Band Boosters.
My dedication to the Arlington Chamber of Commerce is equally strong. I've served as Chairwoman of the Gala and Raffle Ticket Chair, and I'm an active member of the Gala Committee, Membership Engagement Committee, Community Action Committee, and LeadShare Tuesday Group. MGI has volunteered at every Chamber Volunteer Day since 2020. We're proud Century Club Members and were honored to participate in the Chamber's 100th-year celebrations.
Press & Recognition
MGI has been featured in Arlington Magazine's Women in Business edition and serves as Arlington Magazine's Official Plaque provider. We're also the vendor providing annual Hall of Fame awards for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
In March 2025, Ivy presented at the Small Business Roundtable on “Valuable Lessons for Gift-Giving: Making the Most of Your Gift-Spending Budget.” She's been a regular participant and panelist at the AWE Women in Business Summit since 2020.
